Work Post
1:02pm - Very stressed out today. Lots of things on my mind, making it hard to work or to focus on any one thing.
It's Monday, so I should be contacting the phone company to get my rate reduced to their new plan that includes something I'm paying extra for. I also need to get my student loan account unfrozen so I can stop paying it again.
I've got my war game prototype to work on of course, but I can do that anytime, no rush.
I've got a commissioned story I'm supposed to be writing, but I haven't been able to get my creative juices flowing. The words aren't coming, but I also have to admit I haven't been trying very hard.
I'm spending all of my time connected to a text MUCK called SpinDizzy due to a recent obsession that doesn't seem to be abating. I don't know what to do about that.
I haven't finished Sid Meier's Memoir! yet, though I've gotten pretty far. Haven't started playing Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations: Endless Frontier Saga yet, though I'd like to. Haven't been playing a lot of games I have handy. Still kinda wanna watch cartoons with Robby in the living room too.
So much going on. I should do all the short, one time things first, right? But I've been procrastinating on them for months. :/
I did finally try to contact OSAP and get my student loan account unfrozen a couple weeks ago but they had me on hold for-ever and then passed me off to some other phone line that couldn't even help me, and wanted me to call them back again. It's a real pain.
All this and I really just want to crawl back into bed and listen to music, anyways.
So I sigh.
2:58pm - I managed to call the NSLSC and they said they'd try to get my account unfrozen, and hopefully it works this time. The guy I got today was a fluent english speaker and very polite so I think it'll work out. I'm going to go to the living room and noodle around on my laptop for a while, but I'll leave this open on my main machine for later.
10:25pm - It's super late again so I'm gonna call it a wrap. I've got other things going on but no more work today.
