Work Post
11:04am - Well, it's been a while since my last work post. I've spent about a week doing nothing much besides playing Albion Online. It's not terribly good as a game, but everything I do feels meaningful, so it's a much more fulfilling experience than most games. Still, it doesn't fulfill me like actually working, so I'm out at the library to work on my projects again.
That said, I'm almost entirely lacking in enthusiasm. I don't know if it's just depression or something else but I feel almost no impetus to actually work, except for the emptiness inside from not working. I don't feel my usualish excitement to be sitting down to make something. Just a hollow feeling that I figure needs to be filled by progressing my life's ambition.
So here I am.
With tears in my eyes I open up Unity. :/
Last time, I had just put the vision cone on my tag player. My next step is to make that vision cone detect objects within it.
11:34am - Well, I opened Unity and considered it for a bit before running away to Reddit and "Doing Something Else" for a while. It's not easy to get back to developing something when you've lost your flow. :/
12:08pm - Well now I've been here for an hour and I haven't done anything besides complain about how depressed I am and watch YouTube videos. They were funny and I smiled and laughed a bit but I don't actually feel better. :/
12:40pm - Over an hour and a half now... yeah I'm not actually doing anything productive like I came out here to do. I'm going to get something nice from across the street to try and cheer myself up then head home.
