5:55am - Well I ended up sleeping until almost midnight. Been messing around with a game since then. Hard to believe it's already been six hours.
Anyways I want to do some more work today, and I'll start with redoing the Heap implementation.
6:49am - Heap implementation redone! It works fine now, same as before, but probably faster.
I'm going to see what else I can get from this while still having limited view of what's going on.
7:18am - It's a bit early in my work to be taking a break, but I want to relax a bit before jumping into newer stuff. Next is adding the weight system to my cells.
11:51am - Geez gravy that game is engrossing. Before I knew it, another four hours had passed. Heh. I'm going to get some lunch and then maybe get back to work.
12:30pm - Lunch consumed, a show watched, and I'm a little bit tired, but I'm going to press on anyways.
I intend for my tiles to have both a movement penalty and a tile type. The movement penalty is what is added to the cost for that tile in the pathfinding system, while the tile type will dictate what graphic to use.
And despite what I just said about pressing on, I think I've hit a wall I thought I was pushing through. So I'm going to call it here for work, but try to play games longer so I can stay up during the day.
