8:43pm - Well it's my 'weekend' at last, Monday and Tuesday, and that means I have time to work again. Precious little time, though. On my workdays I've found I can barely do anything but eat, work, and sleep, with maybe a half hour of gaming tacked on, as a treat. I'm not sure having a job is worth the trouble, especially long term, but maybe I can scale back my hours after I've got my debts paid off.
Anyways last time on Work Post, I was hemming and hawing about how to handle the FoV and Fog of War given the option for mutliple player controlled characters.
Generally what's revealed is revealed, so the 'discovery' map can remain on the map...
Yeah, that was what was getting me the most. Then the FoV is just a matter of display, compared to the discovery map. What's fogged or not, rather than the black areas.
So let's look at the GameMap class. It needs certain interfaces. So let's figure those out first, and put in stubs.
9:26pm - I added method stubs to the GameMap class.
9:30pm - Oh time's up. Gotta do Pathfinder now.
