5:53am - So I was feeling kind of inspired and energetic late in the morning and decided to come out to the McDonalds and try to do some work again. Once again I'm going to try and start by watching that video again...

6:17am - Alright! I did it! I watched the video. <3

Now I just need to figure out how my game worked again so I can bring the field of view code in.

6:29am - I'm looking at my game and I'm having a bit of an anxiety flare-up. It's hard to remember how anything worked. I document my code pretty well but not so much the overarching systems I'm working with.

Let me try to wrap my head around it again...

I'm building a tag simulation using Utility AI. I've already built a playground for the game of tag to be played in and I'm working on creating the first player, who'll be the template for the other players. The Utility AI works by choosing an action based on its utility, which is determined by comparing the values of properties.

6:55am - Let myself get distracted by Twitter for a while. I might dive into some other distraction soon too, I'm having trouble focusing and a break might help. An actual break, not reading twitter, which is a chore.

Anyways I hadn't implemented any sense systems yet so I guess I have to do that from the start next. That'll take a bit of designing and thinking and I'm less ready for that than I was.

9:38am - Geez I didn't intend to take THAT long of a break. Now I'm tired and long for bed. Blast.

I'm not sure what to do now. Should I keep at it, or head home?

10:01am - The McDonalds is getting busier now and I'm not getting any less tired, or getting anything done. But I want to get something more than just watching that video done today! Come on, me...

10:02am - No, now that I started to begin, I realized that the next step is steeped in deep thought. I can't do that when I'm this tired and distracted. Shoot. :/

Yeah. I tried again and I just can't think like this. I'll go home and see if I can come up with anything useful in bed.
