4:41pm - Well I'm out at the McDonalds again to work on my projects. It's a little late today, I'm already a bit tired, but I didn't want to sleep, watch shows or play video games. So here I am. I'm having a bit of trouble getting my head in the game, though. I kinda just want to goof off now that I'm here, which is pretty much antiproductive.
5:09pm - So far I've been goofing off, and being pretty much antiproductive.
5:18pm - Last time I left off, I had just set up the considerations for the Utility AI and my next step is to write the code for the actual action functions.
5:47pm - More goofing off, very little work.
7:37pm - I'm very frustrated. The math doesn't seem to work out. I've got two ones and a zero and they're adding up to three. It doesn't make sense. :/
7:49pm - Things aren't getting any better. :/ I'm pouring through code and just not seeing how it's coming up with these numbers.
8:06pm - Okay I'm finally making some progress. I was getting wrong data from polling the variables so everything seemed to add up wrong. What's happening is that the startValue variable isn't being obeyed. It starts as false whether or not the box is checked.
8:15pm - I fixed it. It turned out that when the currValue of the boolean property was initialized it wasn't initializing the nValue of the superclass. So it effectively had two different values depending on how you looked at it. Bad bug. I should fix it and submit the fix on github! Later... For now it's at least fixed in my own code.
8:20pm - Alright I think I've got the considerations working properly. Next I have to write the behavior code for each of the states. It's almost eight thirty now though so I think I'mma go home for now and do that next time.
