4:02pm - I'm enjoying my gratis meal at the McDonalds, and I'm all set up to do some work.
Before I get down to work though, a bit of bad news. I didn't get the almost a sure-thing desperate for my specific condition/skills/talents job. Apparently they didn't believe me when I told them I could handle the physical requirements of the job. I think that's supposed to be a nice way of saying 'You're too fat and weak' but it also comes with the implication that I was either lying about my physical status or deluded to think I was physically capable. So I'm kind of upset. But the good news is my Job Developer got me an interview with another company already. The bad news is the interview isn't until late november so I've got a long wait. There's also a grave concern I have now that this job will also declare me unfit for physical labour on sight and I'll be doomed. I'm sort of inspired to exercise more, but I'm also depressed now so that makes the whole thing more difficult again and balance out back at that point where I think about doing daily exercises but don't actually do them.
SO! Back to work on my game projects. I've got a MobileController to make!
4:49pm - Darn that Twitter sucking me in... Geez. At least some good came of it. My brother reminded me that cheat sheets exist, so I looked up some for Unity.
5:57pm - Still working. Trying to add a nametag to the player object, and it's too big. I'll figure it out.
6:38pm - The little triangle man moves now. Yay! Go me! I don't feel all that enthusiastic though.
I'm in a bit of a pickle. I was going to make the triangle turn to face the direction it's pointing, but this is a sprite based game, so I should have different sprites for different directions.
6:44pm - I gave Zax a poke to see if I could get some character sprites, so we'll see how that goes.
7:25pm - I'm going to stop working for now, make some basic animated sprites next time. I'd go home now but the rain is terrible. I'm going to watch a video or two before I go, hope the rain lessens up in that time.
