5:43pm - Well it's been a few days since I last worked. I had a nice trip to visit my friend Alex on Sunday and Monday, and then I did errands on Tuesday with my roommate, Robby. So I've been busy with other things, but I'm back! It's pretty cold, dark and snowy out so I'm at home, but I at least went into the main room to work instead of staying in my bedroom and struggling there.
Unfortunately despite coming out here to avoid the distraction of my bed, my roommate happened to have this time set aside for finally watching all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. ^.^;;
Anyways I've got this journal to help my focus. I've got that WPF tutorial open again and I'm going to try and make a useful tree view for my Dialogue Editor.
10:35pm - Well, it's five hours later and I still don't have a working TreeView. I'm not 100% sure why it's not working but I think that you can only bind officially coded properties to the XAML bindings and not just public member variables.
I'm having a hard time finding a good official API doc for XAML and WPF. That tutorial I linked before doesn't cut it if I can't look up the syntax they're using.
Anyways my brain's fried after spending half this time on the sofa with Nightmare on Elm Street distracting me and the other half in my room with other things going on. I'll need to get out of the apartment properly in order to work on this, but with the weather the way it is I don't know if I'll be able to do that right.
Well we'll see. For now, I'm signing off.
