4:49pm - Today's pretty awful out. It's been snowing on and off, mostly on, since I got home from visiting Alex. The snow's a foot deep at the shallowest. I already went out once today to get some things from the Drug Store and the Library closes early on Fridays so I've decided to stay home and work today. To mix things up I'm in the main room instead of my bedroom, and Rob's at work so I have the place to myself.
Now, last night I managed to figure out what I was doing with XAML and WPF at least a little. I've got my tree view showing the collection of simulated dialog branches. But I've got a long way to go with this app. I need to make it so that when the user selects an item in the tree view, its' other properties appear in the other components I've yet to add.
Once I've got all the components showing all the data and changing it, I'll need to implement saving and loading of that data.
So I guess my first step should be adding the components to the window that I want for the application.
5:48pm - Jumping rails I started talking with Zax about just why he switched from RPGMaker to Unity, and it seems like he just didn't have a coder who could do what he wanted before. But I can, so we're talking about maybe switching back to RPG Maker to make things easier on everyone.
I'm downloading RPG Maker MV's demo to try it out, and we're talking on Discord about it.
7:51pm - I've been going through the RPG Maker MV in engine tutorial while chatting it up with Zax and crew. It's going pretty well.
8:00pm - Alright I think it's time for a break, 'cause I'm not feelin' so hot.
9:06pm - Amazing how time flies. I'm back on the sofa to do another RPG Maker MV Tutorial, but it won't be long before it's time to play Pathfinder.
9:52pm - Alright that's enough for now. It's time for Pathfinder!
