6:36pm - Well the election was kind of a flop. The cities voted for the NDP mostly but the countryside voted for the PC party, so we've got a PC majority in Ontario. Also the United States seems to be rearing up for a Trade War with the entire free world, starting with their most important, closest and best international friend Canada. Because Donald Trump will screw up everything he's allowed to, to the maximum degree he's allowed to. So I'm rather uncomfortable, mentally.
Despite all that I'm going to do my best to work!
I recieved a copy of the Mind the Vikings source and so today is going to be devoted to figuring out how it works and how to build it.
6:49pm - The source came in a really big zip file and I'm moving the data from my desktop to my D: drive's projects folder, so it's taking a little while to move the files out. Hopefully everything will work out though.
7:05pm - The files have transferred and now I'm loading up UE4 v4.15.3...
7:18pm - Alright it's loaded but not without some problems. I've sent on a request to the main team to advise on the issues I've got.
While I wait for that, which might happen soon or might take a day, I'll work on the GOAP AI I was working on before.
7:34pm - Man! I'm trying to regenerate a GOAP_FSM class using a different base class but refactoring in UE4 is messed up and I can't seem to get rid of the in-project reference to the previous GOAP_FSM class even though there's nothing for it to reference anymore.
The last time I had this problem, the reference disappeared when I reloaded the editor. But it's not working this time. :/
7:38pm - Ahh I looked it up. I need to rebuild my project in the IDE.
8:01pm - Okay I'm looking at the GOAP AI thing I was working on and I can't seem to do anything in my head with it. :/
8:39pm - Yeah still nothing. Shoot. I hate coming out and being unable to program. :/
Not sure what to do with myself now. Go home I guess?
Yeah I guess today will be a game playing day at home.
