6:30pm - Well I'm down at the McDonalds again today. This time I planned to go to the library but Rob was in a hurry to play Spiderman so I didn't have time to pack a lunch. There were a lot of other factors involved too, and that's why I'm only starting now, at six thirty.

Anyways my first task is to finish watching that Multithreading video I started watching last time. It's a little dry and I had trouble watching it at home.

6:50pm - Alright so I've been trying to watch it but I can't pay attention because some teens showed up and they're being excessively gross, putting crayons and gold chains into a pepsi bottle and drinking from it. Now one of them is cutting a hole into the side. It's kind of freaking me out. ;.;

7:17pm - This is nuts. I'm very uncomfortable and there's so much disturbance it's hard to focus at all. I've cranked the volume on my laptop but I can constantly see and hear them just over top of it. :/

7:23pm - Okay I've just got to go to someplace else in the McDonalds at least, maybe home, we'll see.

Work Post

7:43pm - Okay now I'm at the Library. It's not as quiet as I'd like it to be even here, and a bunch of girls are taking up the table with the power outlets, without having anything plugged in. Argh. Tonight is being a bad night. :/

I'm sitting in one of the weird barely comfortable chairs with outlets near the curving window in the Library and I'm going to try and finish watching that video at least. :/

8:11pm - The video was becoming more and more obtuse and opaque as I watched it, so I decided to do some research on my own. I have a couple of books from Packt on C# and one of them seems to cover what I'm trying to do, so I'm going to look there, while also checking out the microsoft documentation.

8:45pm - Shoot, library is closing already. See you!

9:16pm - Well I'm pretty stressed out. I didn't get the work done at McDonald's or the Library that I was hoping. I've decided not to give up yet though, and now, from the couch in my apartment, I'm going to sip tea and watch different videos about multithreadding and asynchronous programming.

It's got a sequel but it's almost an hour and it's already almost ten pm, and I'm a bit dried up right now. So I'm going to poke at a couple other things, maybe take a break, then we'll see if I watch it or what.

12:57am - I played Spider-Man for a couple hours, then watched the second video. Very informative stuff. I think I know basically what I need to do now, but I want to compare it with some other methods.

For now though, I'm going to take a break and hang out with the guys before bed.
