Dream Post
Sep. 12th, 2019 09:54 pmI woke up from a dream not long ago, and felt better somehow. I was watching/in/playing a video game about a long eared dog critter in a 2D platformer world. The gimmick was that he wasn't from that world, and had lost his powers from his home world. He had been taken from his home world and placed in this strange place with no explanation, except from another fellow he met there who told him the jist of what had happened. I think my mind borrowed the plot of A House of Many Doors a bit. Or Phobiopolis. XD
He did have some strange abilities though, like forming a line of soldiers, and opening his GUI.
Anyways I'm not 100% sure I want to make that game, but I could make something similar? I don't know why it made me feel better having that particular dream. I've had lots of dreams about strange video games lately, and they didn't leave me feeling better or inspired.
Oh well.
For a bit of clarification, my situation lately has become complicated. I don't think I'm going to continue working on the prototype of the adult game I was working on, and so I don't have any big project to work on. I lost interest in the one I was working on for Rob a couple months ago, too. So I guess I'll take Puppy Passages, copy it, and try to make something new? We'll see.
