Well, I'm not currently doing any work but I wanted to blog my thoughts all the same.

I bought myself a new Chromebook and it's pretty interesting. I'm typing this on it now. It's mostly alright apart from the weird shaped/positioned enter key. I'll be putting it through its paces as time goes on. It'll give me a little laptop to do things on without being at my main machine, now that my old laptop is on its last legs.

I'm feeling pretty weird tonight. I'm very tired, for one thing. It's only 1:12am and I've had trouble keeping my eyes open since midnight. Last night I went to bed at around 2am and got up at around 4:30pm today. Not great.

I was hoping to do some work today and yet when I was done playing I found that besides being tired, I didn't feel like doing it. Like, more than usual. I don't know what's up with that.

Well, I think I know after all. I think it's because I'm getting tired of working on my Roguelike project. I've been working on it harder than most of my projects, and crammed all together too. I haven't done much else in weeks. There was the week before 7DRL where I was getting ready for it, then the week of 7DRL, then this last week of working on it... It's pretty impressive considering my track record, but it's also a lot of up time without a lot of downtime.

I'm not sure what else I'd like to do, either. I've been spending more time playing games and that's been nice, and I've watched more anime too, which is also nice. But when I want to work, there's only two options right now. I can either work on my Roguelike Project or I can do Inktail's story, which I've been struggling to get back to for a while. Maybe I want to program something else, but what?

I've been feeling uncharacteristically intimidated by other project ideas. Both my 3D and 2D ideas suddenly felt like they were lacking in art resources. There's tons of free and cheap resources on the internet, but something about them doesn't feel or look right, especially when you mash them together.

Normally using "Programmer Art" isn't a big deal for me but somehow recently it has been.

Looking at my current projects on onenote, I've got a 3D project, a 2D project, my Roguelike Project and my Dungeon Sim project. But the last three are all connected, since the 2D Project is going to use the dungeon generator basis of the Roguelike project, and the Dungeon Sim is going to be rather like rogue itself.

I was hoping to come up with some solutions by talking to myself like this, but so far all I've gotten is more tired. I think I'll just close this up and take a sleep.
