relee3:07pm - Well today's been interesting. I got out of bed as early as 10:30am but I've been doing so many things I'm only really getting started with a work post now. Well, better now than an hour later.
Before I started my work post for today I was tooling around with GoRogue and Godot again, and I remade my camera scrolling script in C#, so now I can scroll the camera. Only problem is it's way too fast. I'm not sure what to do about that, but it's kind of a hack anyways so for now I'll just deal.
Actually, looking at what I've got so far, I'm pretty close to being ready to 'finish' this and put it down until 7DRL starts. I don't want to overengineer it and have to redo it to 'start fresh' in March.
So, I mostly want to test out the various map making features. Let's try that!
3:44pm - And then suddenly I was done. o.o
It turned out the map making features, while convenient, weren't as useful as I was hoping for what I'm planning to do. Ahh well. They work at least!
The rest of what I need to do, I'll do during 7DRL.
What am I going to do NOW though?
4:05pm - After some thought I decided I'm going to play a video game. So, we'll see how that goes.
5:12pm - It went well!
7:30pm - I had a break and then played more. Mostly TD games. Trying to scratch that itch.
9:56pm - I spent the last two hours waiting for my D&D game to start. It was delayed by one of the players leaving the group without saying anything, and the GM wanting to open up for a new player.
After waiting a while I decided to start messing with the Unreal Engine, since I'm going to be trying for a sort-of job using it, and I want to learn the ropes.
11:56pm - My D&D game is done, and I'm exhausted, so I'm going to take an early night and leave the Unreal stuff for tomorrow.
