relee1:53pm - More Art! Geez this is more stressful than I thought. I realized a fatal flaw with my gumdrop design so I'm giving it a third go. Before that, though...
You might be wondering why I'm suddenly spriting instead of coding. I reached a point in my code where I needed some sprites to start testing things and making sure they worked. I figured, since I can't find a free sprite set to use for this purpose, why not make my own? And then release it for everyone else to use! A master plan, I think.
So that's what I've been doing, but it's a hard job making sprites, even low quality programmer art sprites, I've found. Maybe it's just my perfectionism creeping in again, I dunno.
But for now, art.
2:17pm - Art is making good progress, and looks good this time. But I need to take a break for my roomie, and maybe afterwards for errands.
1:27am - Report for the day: Went for errands, got new CPAP mask, got a meal, got new shoes for the roomie, got work gloves and trash bags for cleaning a house, then got groceries. Finished off with a bit of game time. All in all it took six hours, then I laid down and now it's too late for work again. At least I got a few sprites down today...
