relee9:00pm - I slept through the whole day today again. Then something bad happened when I got up that I shouldn't talk about. So I've had a bit of a bad day so far. ;.;
But anyways I've been thinking about my projects. I haven't heard back from Zax in over two weeks so I'm not sure if we're even working together anymore, or what. But he made it clear early on that since we're not in a paid relationship that I can work at my own speed and on my own things, so I'm thinking I'll do that for a while.
Ludum Dare is coming up in nine days and I want to have my base code ready to start. If you're not familiar with it, base code is publicly shared code you write before a game jam that allows it, and you use it to start your game. Previously I put together a simple framework for a 2D Platformer. I'd like to do that again, but this time use what I've learned about modularity, the component system, and ScriptableObjects.
9:58pm - And then I promptly get distracted by so many things! Heh...
11:55pm - I've been gradually watching one of those videos from the other day while playing around and it's been pretty interesting.
2:31am - Another night on the call and now I'm back to work again.
3:44am - I just realized that it's almost 4am which is when the McDonalds opens now; they're only closed four hours a night. Since I slept all day today I'm thinking I'll go out to the McDonalds and work for a few hours. <3
