6:21pm - So, I didn't make a work post the last time I worked, but I did get the imports from Blender to Unity to work properly. I just had to set a certain setting that was unset in the settings settings. But to continue with what I was doing, I'd have to redo all the graphics.

I had a thought hit me last night though, that made me realize I didn't need to do the graphics.

The reason is because everything I need to do can be done in a text game.

It doesn't seem very marketable, but I can code all of the AI stuff I wanted to make in a text game format.

This is good for me because I've been having a hard time working lately, since I had so much ahead of me to make. This way I can trim that down a lot and get to work on the actual AI much sooner.

So what does that mean?

I could probably make either a straight singleplayer text game, or make a text MUD. While the latter is tempting, it would be a lot more work, and this is an AI Prototype.

That said, it'll probably be very MUD-like, I'm thinking. Rooms with interaction objects in them that the NPCs will go to and use as they go about their day. If I'm careful I might be able to expand it in the future. I'm not sure I want to be a MUD manager, but it's one path that's open to me.

I'm not feeling very worky right now, despite opening a work post. I just wanted to get this idea written down somewhere. I don't know if I'll work on it today more than just brainstorming.

For now I'm going to relax and try to cool down a bit.
