7:08pm - I'm workin' again. I think I stopped the flickering when I switched the Framebuffer Allocation mode from 3D to 2D. But I'm not sure. The research I did says it's a glitch between the Godot Engine and Nvidia cards, and I have one of the affected cards, so that's a shame on Godot and Nvidia's case but good for me since I'd rather have the bug and fix it than have an unreproducable error slip into my game.
Now, I've currently got a Godot icon wandering around between three rooms; two in one scene and one in another. What do I need to do next?
It might be a good point to look at the game prototype's requirements so I know just what I'm making before I get too far in.
I'm going to have two 'towns' and three 'routes' between them. That means seven scenes have to be built. But there's also mechanics involved in that.
7:48pm - I got distracted, and now I'm too tired to continue. I'm going to take a hopefully short nap so I'll be fresh for tonight.
