6:36am - Well, my sleep schedule is messed up and so is my mouse, so I don't have much I can do but work right now, and nothing that I really want to do anyways.

So, with regards to the problem I faced last time, I realized it's been probably thirty years since I studied the parts of a sentence in English and I'm a bit rusty. So I looked it up on Google to see what I'll be working with.

The sentences I was analyzing last time were "Your hand pulses suddenly, swelling and contracting oddly as it shifts, leaving behind a Red Fox hand. Red Fox fur grows up your arm as it changes, throbbing and shifting."

The analysis I made was eaten by the parser because it thought they were HTML tags. I'll have to be careful about using angle brackets.

I was thinking of disecting it in terms of parts of speech and then rolling for them randomly, but I'm not sure that would sound good. Or rather, there wouldn't be many words to switch out. In most erotic games I've played, they switch out names for bodyparts to keep things fresh. I'd like to keep the transformations fresh too, but it doesn't make sense to have a random style of transformation each time.

Where I described it as "swelling and contracting oddly", that describes a certain sort of transformation. It seems likely that given common cause, the transformations would work in a similar way.

I've been thinking that perhaps the transformations don't all have common cause and common effect, however within a particular transformation family the method should be the same. So I'm thinking that the descriptions of bodyparts changing should be baked into the transformations themselves.

This gives us the chance for a much richer text at the cost of the specificity of the generic form. With baked in transformations, we have the problem of mismatch. It's possible that an already transformed person, being again transformed, would see messages for parts they lack, or oversights of important parts they have.

Still, I think I should go back and consider what I'm aiming at for the game's core gameplay. Except for the most dedicated, there's not much replay value for each individual transformation. Most of it is going to come from the variety of what's available and how it mixes and matches.

Maybe if I create some kind of writer's guide before allowing anyone else, or perhaps even me, from writing transformations, I can keep the transformations cleanly seperated yet combinable.

I think I'd have to determine the maximum body before authoring anything, though, so that I'd be able to check everything off on the 'is this transformed? describe it!' list.

I tried to make a list of every part that the player could have, before, but I don't think I was thorough enough. I'd like to bifurcate the entire body if possible, left and right sides being seperate but connected.

So, the ultimate form would have...

744am -

Three heads, with hair, three sets of antennae, six eyes arranged around a central one, six ears, four noses, whiskers, distinctive cheeks, and a mouth with teeth, two tongues, and distinctive lips, with a chin, and on one neck each.
It's torso would have six arms, each with a distinct upper arm, elbow, and forearm, ending with hands that have five fingers and two thumbs. It would have four back tentacles. It would have eight breasts with distinctive nipples, distinctive pecs, and two bellies, featuring a belly modification each, like a bellymaw or another giant eye.
It's hind would have a long tauric barrel with six legs, each with a distinct upper leg, knee, and lower leg, ending in feet with five toes and two toe-thumbs each. It would have two buttcheeks surrounding a single anus, and three cocks with balls, and two pussies. It would have a thorax extending from behind its butt, and nine tails.

That's pretty crazy, but only a few of those pieces are likely to be expressed at any given time.

Oh shoot I forgot wings. It has wings too. Let me add those to the list.

If I forgot anything else, let me know, please.

There, I fixed it in my document. Now it can also have two sets of back wings and two sets of wings on the butt or barrel (Taur butt).

Anyways that doesn't cover every possible transformation, but it should give me enough distinct parts to model all the forms I'll include, and I can do wierd things with parts to make them fit if need be. Like a slime girl would have a slime bottom instead of legs, but I could probably hack it in, using the legs portion of the body.

8:22am - Alright I think I've done enough work for now. I don't really have anything better to do, though, so I'm going to leave this open while I try and relax. Maybe I'll come back to it.

12:26pm - I've done a lot of random things but now I'm too tired and hyper to continue and I doubt I'll have any energy left when I've done today's chores, so I'mma close this down now.
