10:07pm - So I'm trying again with my TF game. The solution has been eluding me. I guess it's a matter of language processing. I want to do something more advanced than I know how to do, and I haven't been able to find any examples of it being done better elsewhere.

There's basically two ideas we've got for this game. One is that the transformation of each part leads to a unique transformation quote with variables for the previous form. The other is that each part has stats for what its form is, and as they change they are described differently. I'm not sure which one is better, or how or if I should combine them.

If we go with the first idea, we can have pre-written descriptions for various bodyparts in their fully transformed state, and use them when we create the lookat description, we can piece it together from the different parts.

We might be able to do that with the second one as well, by having specific descriptions for specific configurations in the body.

Really the second method seems to be superior except for one thing, it doesn't reference what you are. All it has is a shape. You might be mostly anthro fox, but it wouldn't be able to tell that you're foxy...

Well not easily anyways. I suppose that same 'this configuration is this' system could work, if we allow a few degrees of distance. So you could be a tall fox or a short fox but you're still clearly a fox, to the system.

Hmm... What about hybrids?

It might be able to recognize your arm is foxy and your leg is birdy and say you're a fox-bird hybrid. Hmm... It's worth experimenting with.

10:55pm - Okay I put together some data to track for each part. I realized at the last minute that colour would be one of them. I have no idea how many or which colours to include, and I wonder if 'red' or 'orange' are descriptive enough for something like a Fox Arm. o.o;;

Well I'll experiment with it.
