relee3:05pm - I've already been at the McDonalds for over two hours, just lookin' at Reddit.
3:14pm - Got distracted for a bit. Anyways I'm having a hard day of it. I guess it makes sense? It's the anniversary of my Mom's sudden death, a year ago. I don't know if I should even be working today, but I figure it's either this or stay at home all day playing video games.
Anyways I've got the sprite for my main character in my game now. Next I think I have to make some functions to create the game object for the sprite, put it in the right place, and connect it to the model's Actor object.
3:46pm - Alright, now I've got a little sprite in the middle of my dungeon! Way to go, me. I didn't think I'd even be able to do this much today.
I'm going to get another sandwich, then decide if I want to continue today.
4:00pm - I had another sandwich but I think I'm gonna head home now. I got some work done, even if it was only a half hour, and my next task is pretty big. I've got to make the input system for the game. That's pretty complex!
I have to capture inputs with a new gameobject controller and relay them to the WorldController, but I also have to make it extensible so that when I add in the MenuController I can relay inputs to that as well.
So yeah I'll do that next time. For now it's back home again.
