4:31pm - Workin' at the usual McDonalds now. Got a tea and a pastry since I was still hungry from before. Haven't started in on them yet though. Mostly just reading documentation and a blog post about threading in Unity, trying to figure out a solution.
6:44pm - I've been reading and researching mostly in the MSDN for over two hours now. I've gone home after less time than this, and I'm getting a bit burned out, so I might take a break and continue afterwards. We'll see. I want to read a bit more of this doc...
7:16pm - Killed by a Snapjaw; how embaraslating. Well, back to working!
8:35pm - PROGRESS! I had to change the .NET version being used by Unity from 2 to 4, and now I can use the .NET tasks system, which is pretty handy. I've got Button 2 in my test program running a task that waits and then posts a debug message.
Next I'll want to make it raise events in an infinite or long duration loop to test that. But first I want to read a bit more.
8:39pm - Okay four minutes of reading and now I'm ready to try it.
8:46pm - Okay it seems to work with the single event.
8:50pm - Oh weird! I made an infinite loop and the process never ended, even after the game mode did. So, I'll have to do something about that! Geez.
8:56pm - I tried making it a background process so that it would end along with the main process but it didn't work out that way. I'll have to fiddle with it or try something else next time. Unfortunately I'm out of time. It's not long before I've got Pathfinder again at last. <3
