relee2:29pm - Okay, today I have the rest of the day to do whatever I want, and I want to work some more on my ECGJ3 game. There's not that much time left, and I've still got a lot to do.
First up I have to do the air controls for the bike. Also I was thinking I'd turn the rear wheel's weight turner off if the bike's over 90 degrees.
2:52pm - Okay I think I have my bike! Now I need to make a track that loops infinitely.
I'm thinking I'll make it so that there are set pieces to encounter, and they'll get glued onto the end of the track before the player can see them, and a matching piece behind them, and when they get far enough in that set piece, I'll teleport them behind you NANI!? I mean, I'll teleport them to the back piece, to give the illusion of constant forward movement.
So I need to make some set pieces now.
3:28pm - Alright I've been working an hour and I've got the bike going well and three basic track segments, one with nothing, one with two short hops, and one with a big hop. Now I want to take a break, 'cause I'm feeling off. Not sure I'll make the deadline, but we'll see.
8:59pm - Took a nap. Long nap. Not sure I'm going to be able to get this game done in time. Probably not. ^.^;;
9:49pm - Okay it's time to be honest with myself, I don't have enough time to finish this game. It's 20 hours left, I won't be working for the next four hours, and I've got stuff to do tomorrow.
Alas, sometimes you don't finish a game jam.
