9:15pm - I dunno why I'm making this a work post since I have less than an hour to work. I'm mostly just trying to gather my thoughts for that Bouncy Castle Twine thing.
After some early folks saying they'd prefer a CYOA style thing since they would like to go straight to the content they want without having to work their way through gameplay, I got a lot more people saying they'd like a text adventure type game where they could explore and interact with things in different ways as they changed.
So, I've got to keep track of the player's status as they go through the adventure, what effects are on them, that sort of thing. There's also NPCs to worry about. Should I make them mobile? How do I want to handle encounters?
I've still got a lot of questions about how I want to design this thing.
