relee2:33am - Well, the theme for Extra Credits Game Jam 5 was announced as Passage. I think that'll work for me. I was hoping to make a 2D platformer in Godot and I can think of a few ways the Passage theme could work for that.
First of all I need to make the basic 2D platformer stuff.
4:08am - I checked out a couple of Godot platformer tutorials but they were too long form, and one was too specific, but very short form. But there's a simple 2D platformer tutorial built into Godot that's just right, and I was able to mimic it pretty well for my purposes.
It's been an hour and a half though and I'm tired, so I think I'm going to finish up for the night/morning and head to bed.
